Welcome to Alpha Omicron Pi at UBC! Joining AOII has easily been one of the best decisions that I have ever made. In Less than two years, I have built lifelong friendships with many loving, genuine, and intelligent women that I am proud and honoured to call my sisters.
Being a student at the University of British Columbia, one of the top 25 post-secondaryinstitutions world-wide, is an accomplishment on its own. Being an AOII at UBC is evenmore so. Our members love to get involved with our campus and community and can be seenliving by our motto “exceed the expectation” everywhere you look. AOIIs at UBC serve asExecutives on the Panhellenic Council, Gamma Sigma Alpha Academic Honours Society, andstrong representatives of the Order of Omega Honours Society. We are leaders within our AlmaMater Society, various faculties’ Undergraduate Societies, and World Model United Nations.We act as delegates and presenters for various Leadership Conferences, serve as leaders for theCanadian Liver Foundation, UBC Pre-Med Society, and the Student Environment Centre. Weserve as members and leaders in athletic teams, theatre productions, are nationally recognized forour Philanthropic efforts with the Canadian Arthritis Society, and so much more.
The experiences that I have shared with these incredible women and the opportunities that I havegained through my membership in AOII are more than words can ever describe.
